Glucose conditioned Kool-aid flavor preferences in rats. 8 Rats 2 days 24 hr access to 8% Glucose + 0.05% saccharin + 0.05% Kool-aid (Grape and Cherry counterbalanced). 14 Consecutive days of preference testing with 24 hr access to 2 bottles containing 0.05% saccharin and 0.05% Kool-aid, 1 bottle for grape, 1 for cherry. Follow up ?42? days after conditioning for 2 days of further preference testing.

Found that Glucose can cause a strong, long lasting preference for a Kool-aid flavor in rats.
